Today, little Martin even tweeted to say goodbye to rockets.
Martin junior wrote: “I want to thank the fairdita family and Raphael stone for giving me a chance to become an NBA player three years ago. I want to thank coach Silas for his guidance over the past three years. Thanks to all my trainers and fitness coaches, I have experienced many ups and downs in the past three years and I have gained a lot of fun in Houston.”
“My teammates, you know how grateful you are to I am. You have made me better every day. You must continue to struggle. Houston will always have a place in my heart. Now, in the next chapter of my life, I am very excited to return home (born in California), return to Los Angeles, and cheer on the Clippers!”
The Rockets had traded little Martin to the Clippers before and got two future rounds of signing. Little Martin played 82 games for the Rockets in the regular season 22-23, with an average of 28.0 minutes in the game, get 12.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists.
