The rocket’s new aid Dillon Brooks participated in part of the training in Las Vegas on Monday with little Jamari Smith, Ethan and others. After the training, Dillon gave a brief interview.
When asked why the rockets were suitable for him, Dillon replied, “This is a new chapter I am, staying with young people. It’s time to change the prospect of rockets. I like challenges. I think having Wu ducurno coaching can help me make progress and grow up as a player and as an individual.”
When the reporter pointed out that it was the Rockets who chose Dillon at the draft conference in that year (the Rockets selected him and sent him to the grizzly bear in 45 of 2017), whether he had considered these, Dillon responded with a smile: “Seven years ago? Yes, I know, playing with Harden and others. However, under such circumstances, I don’t know what kind of player I will become. Now seven years have passed, and I seem to have returned to the origin.”
