夜上海论坛社区(Click on the top to follow keyboard man and learn more interesting information.) Since 2000, which FMVP has performed the most in the finals? Recently, a fan posted a discussion post on the Reddit forum in the United States. The theme was: which FMVP has performed the most in the finals since 2000? The author of this post is as follows: Since 2000, these are some of the Finals MVP performances that really stand out to me, and was wanting some opinions on whose was the “best”. Since I’m asking “Which player” specifically, I won’t be repeating players who won multiple FMVP’s, I tried to pick their best series. Since the millennium, the FMVP burst performance in the finals for several years has really blinked my eyes! So I opened this post to listen to everyone’s thoughts. Which of them did the most explosive performance in the finals! Because we are aiming at “which player”, for those players who have won FMVP many times, I only took out his best performance. -Shaq-2000. It was hard to pick one series from Shaq’s FMVP 3 peat, but his 2000 finals was monstrous. Averaged 38/16.7 with 2.7 blocks and a FG% of .61. Had 3 40+ point games and 2 20+ rebound games, including a 40/24 game in game 2. Lakers beat the Pacers 4-2. -O’Neal (2000 FMVP): to pick out O’Neal’s best performance among the Lakers’ three successive championships from 2000 to 2003? It’s really hard! However, O’Neal’s performance in the finals that won the championship in 2000 was ruined! O’Neal averaged 38 points and 16 points in the finals. 7 rebounds 2.7 cap with a hit rate of 61%. In three games, at least 40 points and 20 rebounds were thrown, including the burst performance of G2’s 40 points and 24 rebounds, helping the Lakers win the championship 4-2 against Pacers! -Tim Duncan – 2003. 24.2/17/5.3, also averaged 5.3 blocks a game, with 3 games of over 7 blocks. Spurs beat the Nets 4-2. -Duncan (FMVP, 2003): in the finals of 2003, the average score was 24.2 points, 17 rebounds 5.3 assists, and in addition, the average score was 5.3 cap, with more than 7 cap in 3 games! Help Spurs win the championship with 4-2 victory over basketable nets! -Dwayne Wade – 2006. 34.7/7.8/3.8 with 2.7 steals and a block. The next highest scorer for the Heat this series was Antoine Walker, who only averaged 13.8 points on 39% shooting. Heat beat the Mavericks 4.2 -Wade (2006 FMVP):2006 finals averaged 34.7 points 7.8 rebounds 3.8 assists 2.7 steals 1 cap. In that finals, Anthony Walker was the player with the second highest average score in the heat field, with only 13.8 points in the 39 percent hit field. The Heat team defeated the Mavericks 4-2 and won the championship! -Kobe Bryant – 2009. 32.4/5.6/7.4 with 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks. Lakers beat the Magic 4-1. -Kobe Bryant (FMVP, 2009): the finals of 2009 averaged 32.4 points 5.6 rebounds 7.4 assists 1.4 steals 1.4 cap. The Lakers beat Magic 4-1 and won the championship! -LeBron James – 2016. I picked LBJ’s 2016 FMVP for two reasons: Even though he averaged 28.6/10.2/7.4 against the Thunder in 2012, his 3 point percentage was atrocious (.188), and in 2020, he had a lot of help from AD (LBJ-30/12/9, AD-25/11/3). In 2016, LBJ averaged 29.7/11.3/8.9 in Cleveland’s historic 3-1 comeback against the Warriors. He put up 40+ in games 5 and 6 and capped off the series with a 27/11/11 triple double. -James (2016 FMVP): I chose James to perform in the finals in 2016 for two reasons: first, the final that defeated Thunder and won the championship in 2012, although James averaged 28.6 points, 10.2 rebounds, 7.4 assists, however, his three-point shooting rate was terrible, only 18.8 percent; And when the Lakers won the Championship in 2020, James was greatly helped by his strong eyebrows (James averaged 30 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists in the finals, heavy eyebrows scored 25 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists); Second, in the 2016 finals, James led the Cavaliers to complete the amazing plot twist with 1-3 behind the Warriors, with 29.7 points, 11.3 rebounds and 8.9 assists on average, in the G5 and G6 both shot 40 +, and scored 27 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists in the three double end series, won the championship! -Kevin Durant – 2017. Averaged 35.2/8.2/5.4 on .556/.474/.927 splits. Warriors beat the Cavs 4-1. -Durant (2017 FMVP):2017 finals averaged 35.2 points 8.2 rebounds 5.4 assists, three hit rates were 55.6%.47.4%/92.7% respectively, the Warriors beat the Cavaliers 4-1 to win the championship! -Kawhi Leonard – 2019. Averaged 28.5/9.8/4.2 with two steals and a block. Also shot 58-64 from the line that series. Raptors beat the Warriors 4-2. -Leonard (FMVP, 2019): the finals of 2019 averaged 28.5 points, 9.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 2 steals 1 Cap, and the whole series of free throws were 64 and 58, leading Raptors 4-2 to beat Warriors and win the championship! -Giannis Antetokounmpo – 2021. Averaged 35.2/13.2/5 with 1.2 steals and 1.8 blocks. Capped of the series with a 50/14 game which saw him block 5 shots and shoot 16-25 from the field and 17-19 from the line. Bucks won 4-2 over the Suns. -Brother alphabet (FMVP, 2021): in the final of 2021, the game averaged 35.2 points, 13.2 rebounds, 5 assists, 1.2 steals 1.8 cap. In the last game of the series, 50 points, 14 rebounds were vigorously thrown, and 5 cap were sent, shoot 25 shots in 16, throw 19 penalty in 17, lead the Bucks 4-2 to beat the Sun and win the championship! -Nikola Jokic – 2023. 30.2/14/7.2. Like LBJ in 2020, Jokic had a lot of help from Jamaal Murray (21.4/6.2/10). But those numbers from a 7 footer on .583/.421/.838 splits speak for themselves. What makes it better is that he was probably thinking about horses the whole time. -Yorkich (FMVP 2023): in the 2023 finals, the average score was 30.2 points, 14 rebounds and 7.2 assists, similar to James 2020, this year’s joki got a lot of help from teammate Jamal Murray (Murray averaged 21.4 points, 6.2 rebounds and 10 assists in the finals). However, as a 7-foot center, yokiki can cut the above finals data with a hit rate of 58.3%/42.1%/83.8%, which is already a great thing. Not to mention, during the finals, it is likely that half of jokiki’s brain was spent on his horse love… I tried picking players that REALLY stood out. If I totally blanked on a couple please call me out for being a casual. These above are some abnormal FMVP performances I picked. If there is anything missing, please point it out. After all, I am not a professional either ~ Edit: Kawhi and KD probably could’ve stayed off the list. I also didn’t add Curry in 2022 because of Jayson Tatum’s terrible/inefficient offense in that series… but that probably wasn’t a valid reason to leave him off. I also threw in Kobe, because I felt I had to at least throw him in the mix. Supplement: Leonard and Durant may not have to put it on this list, and I didn’t put it in the curry of 2022, because Tatum’s performance in the finals that year was too bad and inefficient… But this reason may not be very tenable… In addition, I also let Kobe in, because I think I have to put Kobe in whatever way… ***** The following is the discussion of American netizens * * * * * * [-]Bucksnight_dude 347 points 6 days ago “also averaged 5.3 blocks a game, with 3 games of over 7 blocks .” Holy shit Bucks fans: “There are also 5.3 Cap Games, and there are 3 games with more than 7 cap!” Your sister… Note: Here, American Netizens quoted the data of Duncan’s 2003 finals. [-][SEA] Kevin DurantWestleyThe 121 points 6 days ago 24/17/5 with 5 blocks per game… Timmy is sooo underrated man Supersonic fans: 24 points per game, 17 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 cap… Duncan was really underestimated… Oh my God… [-]wildturkey116 3 points 6 days ago Underrated how? He’s pretty much universally loved, respected, and a highly decorated player (NBA & NCAA). He’s a consensus top 3 player at his position, considered one of the greatest players ever, and HOF bound. Fans: underestimated? Where is it underestimated? Duncan can be said to be loved by everyone, and can be said to be well-known all over the world in NCAA and NBA! He is a member of the Hall of Fame, one of the greatest players in history and the top 3 in history in his position! [-]SpursConn3er 90 points 6 days ago You just called him consensus top 3 at his position, which is underrating him. That would be like calling Jordan a consensus top 3 at SG There is no one close to either of them at those positions. Spurs fans: If you say Duncan is the top three in the same position in history, you already underestimate him ~~ you say so, which is equivalent to saying Jordan is the top three point guard in history! No other players in the same position can be compared with these two! [-]:yc-1: Yacht Clubec2xs 118 points 6 days ago The second best offense player on that 2003 Spurs team was a 20-year old Tony Parker, who averaged 14 ppg on 38.6% shooting. That 2003 run doesn’t get talked about enough as a Hakeem-level carry job. Fans: in the finals of 2003, the second highest average score of the Spurs was Tony Parker, who was only 20 years old, who scored 14 points with a hit rate of 38.6%… People’s discussion on the champion of 2003 is too low. Duncan was like olajuwang that year, carrying the champion won by Spurs along the way ~ ~ ~ [-]SpursTheCalvinator 51 points 6 days ago Duncan still holds the NBA record for most winshares in a championship run for 2003. Spurs fans: when winning the championship in 2003, Duncan’s winning rate contribution value was still the unbroken record of the league! [-]LakersMustard_Jam 366 points 6 days ago This is really a race for second because coming back from 3-1 against a 73-9 team while almost averaging a triple double is hard to beat. I ‘d say Giannis for second. I really think that finals still doesn’t get as much respect as it should from an individual standpoint. The Suns were clear favorites (like -160) and Holiday was a no show like always on offense. It was essentially Giannis playing like superman on both ends of the court. Then game 6 which was pretty much a must win with game 7 in Phoenix he drops 50 to close it out. No one else showed up from the Bucks and Giannis just took over. Shaq was insanely impressive against the Pacers but that series had some of the most lobsided odds ever. The Lakers were like -2000 going into it or something absurd like that. Beating a team that’s better than your team on paper but you win because the FMVP was just so fucking dominant goes a long way IMO. Lakers fans: in my opinion, isn’t this pure topic of “Which of you will fight for the second? In the case that the finals 1-3 fell behind a team with a record of 73 wins and 9 losses in the regular season, the team finally completed the amazing plot twist, which is an invincible performance ~ ~ ~ As for the second thing, I will choose brother alphabet. From the perspective of personal performance, brother Alphabet’s performance in the finals did not get the respect it should have! The Suns were a hit at that time (the odds seemed to be-160 at that time), while holodi was almost invisible at the offensive end, and Bucks team basically relied on the Superman performance of brother alphabet at both ends of attack and defense! At that time, G6 was a game that the Bucks had to win, because if they lost, G7 would go back to the home court of the sun. Under such circumstances, brother alphabet took 50 points away under the G6 boom and the series ended! Bucks team no one else can stand up, just brother Xin is killing himself! O’Neal’s performance in the 2000 finals was crazy, but the strength gap between the two teams in that finals was rare. Before the finals began, the odds of winning the championship by the Lakers were simply outrageous, it seems to be-2000 or something. So in my opinion, facing a team whose paper strength is stronger than yours, you defeated them, and the reason is that your FMVP is too TM strong, which can better reflect the value of FMVP! [-]PistonsTel3visi0n 104 points 6 days ago Bron lead both teams in all major stats categories too Piston fans: in the 16th finals, James was ahead of all the players in both teams in all key statistics! [-]Dryproperties 47 points 6 days ago Idc whether someone is a LBJ fan or not… but this is factually the correct answer. Fans: I don’t care if everyone is a James fan… The performance of FMVP in 2016 is the best, which is the correct answer and indisputable fact! [-]MagicMaddoxGoodwin 0 points 6 days ago 2016 LBJ was God tier Magic fans: James of the 2016 finals is God-level! [-]mym0j0s0d0pe 261 points 6 days ago I think even Bron’s biggest haters will say it is him in 2016. I can prove the View upstairs ~ ~ [-]WarriorsMC-Jdf 136 points 6 days ago Kind of hard to say otherwise. To lead a championship series in all 5 major statistical categories is absurd. Warriors fans: there is really nothing to say… Five key data statistics are all ahead of all players in the two teams, which is very ridiculous ~ ~ [-]BucksGaetan123456 62 points 6 days ago It’s definitely Lebron 2016 but I’m way too biased here so I’m going with Giannis Bucks fans: I will definitely choose James in 2016 ~ but I am very eccentric, I will choose the letter brother ~ ~ ~ [-]euphory_melancholia 17 points 6 days ago im gonna go with giannis on this one. man’s almost out of the finals with that knee injury, came back like it was nothing game, dropped back to back 40 point double doubles, the legendary block in game 4, the crazy sequence in game 5, and the 50-piece to end the 50-year drought. what a poetic ending Fan: I also chose brother alphabet. This man almost withdrew from the finals because of a knee injury. Later, he came back and continued to play like nothing, and then cut 40 + two pairs in two consecutive games, he also sent out a cap recorded in history in G4, then continued to output crazily in G5, and finally scored 50 points in G6, ending the championship shortage of Bucks team and 50 years, it’s happy endings like a poem ~ ~ (Letter brother cover Elton idle dunk) [-]this_place_stinks 43 points 6 days ago Giannis performance is still underrated. Didn’t he hit like 15 straight FTs or something as part of that 50 piece? That close out game is one of the best ever played imo Fans: Brother Alphabet’s performance is still underestimated… In the 50-point performance of G6, did he still hit 15 free throws in a row? The final performance of this series is one of the best I have ever seen! [-]Adorable-Physics-782 60 points 6 days ago * Yea but that Suns team was the weakest team to come out of the west in this century. They had a cakewalk path due to injuries to AD, Murray, and Kawhi. It is not like he beat the warriors or even a lebron / AD Lakers, he beat up on Ayton. Fan: That’s a good point, but the Suns are the weakest Western team to reach the finals in this century. Their playoff journey was smooth all the way. Their eyebrows hurt, Murray hurt, mini truck was also injured. The final opponent of the Bucks is not a strong team like the peak warrior or James/strong eyebrow and healthy Lakers. They just beat dunbao ~ ~ ~ [-]HeatInsertRandomName__ 7 points 6 days ago Shaq. He dominated the series from start to end. Heat fans: I chose O’Neal ~ he ruled the entire finals from beginning to end that year ~ ~ [-]KaiserKaiba 30 points 6 days ago Bron imo. Not the most efficient, or the highest scoring but the context makes that series performance like his magnum opus. 30/11/9/3/2 against a 73-win GSW team and averaged more pts/reb/ast/stls/blks than anyone from either team as he led Cleveland to a championship through a 1-3 deficit comeback. Had potentially the best 3 game stretch from games 5-7. I also think with the others you mentioned, 2022 Steph should be here. His performance was def all time. And series momentum changed after he led GSW to tie the series up in game 4 to avoid going down 3-1. Fans: I chose James in 2016 ~ although his performance was not the most efficient or the highest-scoring FMVP, but in the special background of that finals, make it the most influential Final FMVP performance! In the face of the Warriors with a record of 73 wins and 9 losses in the regular season, they scored 30 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists, 3 steals 2 cap, and the five data ranked first among all the players in the two teams, and in the case that the big score is 1-3 behind, complete the plot twist championship! The performance of three consecutive games from G5 to G7 is the best! In addition, as for other FMVP performances mentioned, I think the library in 2022 should be put up, and the overall performance of the library in that year was epic! The trend of the whole series has changed completely with the 2-2 draw with the Warriors and the 1-3 lag avoided! (Curry 2022 finals G4 super performance) [-]Maverickslalajoy04 6 points 6 days ago Free throws don’t always come up because it isn’t as sexy of a stat, but Dirk having a 97.8% free throw percentage in the 2011 finals sticks out to me. Lone Ranger fans: Although the free throw data is not as sexy as other data, so it is not very noticeable, but Nowitzki can set off a 97.8% free throw shooting rate in the 2011 finals, which is also a dazzling existence in my eyes! [-]korpycar -1 points 6 days ago I think it’s Nowitzki. By far the the biggest underdog in finals and with minimal help. Fuck numbers, eye test says it’s him Fans: I think the best thing is Nowitzki in 2011. He led the most unoptimistic finals team in history with the least helper and finally won the championship! Data is nothing! Seeing is believing! Nowitzki! [-]Izur_777[S] 5 points 6 days ago I remember that series as a kid. I spent all summer trying to replicate that one legged turn around fade Fans: I remember when I watched the Mavericks play the finals, I was still a little boy ~ after that, all summer that year, I was imitating the GOLDEN ROOSTER of King Nuo’s independent turn and back shooting ~ ~ ~ [-]Izur_777[S] 46 points 6 days ago For me, it’s: 1) LBJ 2) Dwayne Wade 3) Giannis 4) Shaq 5) Duncan Fans: My choices are: first, James in 16 years; Second, Wade in 06; Third, brother alphabet in 21 years; Fourth, O’Neal in 00; Fifth, Duncan in 03 [-]Raptorsfrostbite3030 2 points 6 days ago Wade is 5 for me and its not even close. It was infuriating to watch the refs in that series. Like saying the Lakers over Sacremento is your favorite series. Raptors fans: Upstairs, Wade can only be ranked fifth in my eyes, and it can’t compare with the other four at all! Because the referee’s penalty scale in the 2006 finals can almost make people angry! It is as annoying as your favorite 2002 Lakers VS King’s westward series! [-]Extreme-Transport 2 points 6 days ago I know blocks isn’t the best indicator, but interesting that the best defensive performance and biggest carry job is last Fans: Let me add one more word. Although I understand that this kind of data cap is not the most popular among fans, among these FMVs, Duncan has the strongest defensive performance and the best final carry, but you ranked him last?? [-]WarriorsSartheking 24 points 6 days ago Shaq. Yes the circumstances specifically around LeBron in 2016 coming back from 3-1 gives him a case but the problem with that is that punishes Shaq for not going down 3-1 and dominating the series from start to finish. The way LeBron played in those final three games was how Shaq played the entire Finals. I think Shaq is a clear 1 followed by LeBron and then Giannis. If we’re talking about a full Playoff run Duncan has a strong case but as it’s just the Finals I think he’s below the others. I think Wade’s performance given the load he carried was incredible also. Warriors fans: I choose big shark O’Neal! Yes, the special case that James completed 1-3 plot twist in 2016 is very bonus, but O’Neal dominated the series from beginning to end because he was too strong, so he didn’t have a chance to fall behind his opponent from 1 to 3, this turned into a minus for O’Neal? Although James ruled three consecutive games from G5 to G7 in the 2016 finals, O’Neal directly ruled the existence of a whole series! So in my opinion, O’Neal should be ranked first, followed by James, and the third is brother alphabet. From the perspective of the whole playoff, Duncan was very strong in 03, but today we only look at the performance of the finals, Duncan is a little weaker than those. As for Wade, considering the pressure he took on in the 2006 finals, his performance was also very awesome! [-]NuggetsHanhonhon 20 points 6 days ago * Shaq (2000) Lebron (2016) Wade (2006) Giannis (2021) Duncan (2003) EDIT: Bron is probably #1 actually Nuggets fans: my ranking is: O’Neal (2000), James (2016), Wade (2006), Alphabet brother (2021), Duncan (2003). Added: in fact, James may be ranked first in 16 years. [-]Khione_Asteri 2 points 6 days ago KD does not deserve a shout. he was extremely enabled by Curry’s off ball gravity. when you benefit from a top 10-15 (realistically there’s 15 dudes people argue for top 10) player of all time at his peak playing next to you you don’t really get to say your finals performance was super impressive. Fans: Durant’s performance is not worth discussing at all! He benefited too much from library’s gravity! When you play with one of the top 10-15 players in the peak period of history (in fact, there should be about 15 players in the history that can be included in the discussion category of the top 10), you benefit from his restraint, don’t tell others how awesome your finals are ~ ~ [-]tbrenclaimed 5 points 6 days ago Averaging 35 on 70% TS with stellar defense is absolutely nuts Idc if he had Curry to help him out lmao Fans: in the finals, the actual hit rate of 70% was 35 points, and the defense was also first-class. Isn’t it bad enough!? What Library has gravity? It doesn’t matter if he has a ball, ha ha ha ha ~ ~ ~ [-]PistonsTel3visi0n -3 points 6 days ago Lmao get KD the fuck out of this discussion please Piston fans: laugh me to death ~~~ please wipe Durant off from this discussion with an eraser, please ~ ~ ~ [-]San Francisco WarriorsPaschalls_Law 54 points 6 days ago “I also didn’t add Curry in 2022 because of Jayson Tatum’s terrible/inefficient offense in that series” Then take off Lebron in 2016 because of Curry’s terrible offense in that series. Tf kind of logic is that lmao Warriors fans: The landlord said, “and I didn’t put Curry in 2022, because Tatum’s performance in the finals that year was too bad and inefficient…” The original poster, according to what you said, please also remove James from 2016, because Curry played too badly in the finals that year! What logic is this? It’s so funny! [-]bowenbear 6 points 6 days ago Lol I was gonna say that. By that logic way more players should be taken off his list. Fans: ha ha ha, I also want to say this. -Dwayne Wade – 2006. 34.7/7.8/3.8 with 2.7 steals and a block. The next highest scorer for the Heat this series was Antoine Walker, who only averaged 13.8 points on 39% shooting. Heat beat the Mavericks 4.2
-Wade (2006 FMVP):2006 finals averaged 34.7 points 7.8 rebounds 3.8 assists 2.7 steals 1 cap. In that finals, Anthony Walker was the player with the second highest average score in the heat field, with only 13.8 points in the 39 percent hit field.
Not to mention, during the finals, it is likely that half of jokiki’s brain was spent on his horse love…
I tried picking players that REALLY stood out. If I totally blanked on a couple please call me out for being a casual.
These above are some abnormal FMVP performances I picked. If there is anything missing, please point it out. After all, I am not a professional either ~
Edit: Kawhi and KD probably could’ve stayed off the list. I also didn’t add Curry in 2022 because of Jayson Tatum’s terrible/inefficient offense in that series… but that probably wasn’t a valid reason to leave him off. I also threw in Kobe, because I felt I had to at least throw him in the mix.
Supplement: Leonard and Durant may not have to put it on this list, and I didn’t put it in the curry of 2022, because Tatum’s performance in the finals that year was too bad and inefficient… But this reason may not be very tenable… In addition, I also let Kobe in, because I think I have to put Kobe in whatever way…

“also averaged 5.3 blocks a game, with 3 games of over 7 blocks .”
Holy shit
Bucks fans: “There are also 5.3 Cap Games, and there are 3 games with more than 7 cap!” Your sister…
Note: Here, American Netizens quoted the data of Duncan’s 2003 finals.

24/17/5 with 5 blocks per game…
Timmy is sooo underrated man
Supersonic fans: 24 points per game, 17 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 cap… Duncan was really underestimated… Oh my God…
[-]wildturkey116 3 points 6 days ago
Underrated how? He’s pretty much universally loved, respected, and a highly decorated player (NBA & NCAA). He’s a consensus top 3 player at his position, considered one of the greatest players ever, and HOF bound.
Fans: underestimated? Where is it underestimated? Duncan can be said to be loved by everyone, and can be said to be well-known all over the world in NCAA and NBA! He is a member of the Hall of Fame, one of the greatest players in history and the top 3 in history in his position!
[-]SpursConn3er 90 points 6 days ago
You just called him consensus top 3 at his position, which is underrating him.
That would be like calling Jordan a consensus top 3 at SG
There is no one close to either of them at those positions.
Spurs fans: If you say Duncan is the top three in the same position in history, you already underestimate him ~~ you say so, which is equivalent to saying Jordan is the top three point guard in history! No other players in the same position can be compared with these two!

The second best offense player on that 2003 Spurs team was a 20-year old Tony Parker, who averaged 14 ppg on 38.6% shooting.
Duncan was like olajuwang that year, carrying the champion won by Spurs along the way ~ ~ ~
[-]SpursTheCalvinator 51 points 6 days ago
Duncan still holds the NBA record for most winshares in a championship run for 2003.
Spurs fans: when winning the championship in 2003, Duncan’s winning rate contribution value was still the unbroken record of the league!
[-]LakersMustard_Jam 366 points 6 days ago
This is really a race for second because coming back from 3-1 against a 73-9 team while almost averaging a triple double is hard to beat.
In the case that the finals 1-3 fell behind a team with a record of 73 wins and 9 losses in the regular season, the team finally completed the amazing plot twist, which is an invincible performance ~ ~ ~
As for the second thing, I will choose brother alphabet.
[-]PistonsTel3visi0n 104 points 6 days ago
Bron lead both teams in all major stats categories too
Piston fans: in the 16th finals, James was ahead of all the players in both teams in all key statistics!
[-]Dryproperties 47 points 6 days ago
Idc whether someone is a LBJ fan or not… but this is factually the correct answer.
Fans: I don’t care if everyone is a James fan… The performance of FMVP in 2016 is the best, which is the correct answer and indisputable fact!
[-]MagicMaddoxGoodwin 0 points 6 days ago
2016 LBJ was God tier

[-]WarriorsMC-Jdf 136 points 6 days ago
Kind of hard to say otherwise.
To lead a championship series in all 5 major statistical categories is absurd.
Warriors fans: there is really nothing to say… Five key data statistics are all ahead of all players in the two teams, which is very ridiculous ~ ~
[-]BucksGaetan123456 62 points 6 days ago
It’s definitely Lebron 2016 but I’m way too biased here so I’m going with Giannis
Bucks fans: I will definitely choose James in 2016 ~ but I am very eccentric, I will choose the letter brother ~ ~ ~
[-]euphory_melancholia 17 points 6 days ago
im gonna go with giannis on this one. man’s almost out of the finals with that knee injury, came back like it was nothing game, dropped back to back 40 point double doubles, the legendary block in game 4, the crazy sequence in game 5, and the 50-piece to end the 50-year drought. what a poetic ending
Fan: I also chose brother alphabet. This man almost withdrew from the finals because of a knee injury. Later, he came back and continued to play like nothing, and then cut 40 + two pairs in two consecutive games, he also sent out a cap recorded in history in G4, then continued to output crazily in G5, and finally scored 50 points in G6, ending the championship shortage of Bucks team and 50 years, it’s happy endings like a poem ~ ~
(Letter brother cover Elton idle dunk)
[-]this_place_stinks 43 points 6 days ago
Giannis performance is still underrated. Didn’t he hit like 15 straight FTs or something as part of that 50 piece?
That close out game is one of the best ever played imo
Fans: Brother Alphabet’s performance is still underestimated… In the 50-point performance of G6, did he still hit 15 free throws in a row? The final performance of this series is one of the best I have ever seen!
[-]Adorable-Physics-782 60 points 6 days ago *
Yea but that Suns team was the weakest team to come out of the west in this century.
They just beat dunbao ~ ~ ~
[-]HeatInsertRandomName__ 7 points 6 days ago
Shaq. He dominated the series from start to end.
Heat fans: I chose O’Neal ~ he ruled the entire finals from beginning to end that year ~ ~
[-]KaiserKaiba 30 points 6 days ago
Bron imo.

Free throws don’t always come up because it isn’t as sexy of a stat, but Dirk having a 97.8% free throw percentage in the 2011 finals sticks out to me.
Lone Ranger fans: Although the free throw data is not as sexy as other data, so it is not very noticeable, but Nowitzki can set off a 97.8% free throw shooting rate in the 2011 finals, which is also a dazzling existence in my eyes!
[-]korpycar -1 points 6 days ago
I think it’s Nowitzki. By far the the biggest underdog in finals and with minimal help. Fuck numbers, eye test says it’s him
Fans: I think the best thing is Nowitzki in 2011. He led the most unoptimistic finals team in history with the least helper and finally won the championship! Data is nothing! Seeing is believing! Nowitzki!
[-]Izur_777[S] 5 points 6 days ago
I remember that series as a kid. I spent all summer trying to replicate that one legged turn around fade
Fans: I remember when I watched the Mavericks play the finals, I was still a little boy ~ after that, all summer that year, I was imitating the GOLDEN ROOSTER of King Nuo’s independent turn and back shooting ~ ~ ~
[-]Izur_777[S] 46 points 6 days ago
For me, it’s:
1) LBJ 2) Dwayne Wade 3) Giannis 4) Shaq 5) Duncan
Fans: My choices are: first, James in 16 years; Second, Wade in 06; Third, brother alphabet in 21 years; Fourth, O’Neal in 00; Fifth, Duncan in 03
[-]Raptorsfrostbite3030 2 points 6 days ago
Wade is 5 for me and its not even close.
[-]Extreme-Transport 2 points 6 days ago
I know blocks isn’t the best indicator, but interesting that the best defensive performance and biggest carry job is last
Fans: Let me add one more word. Although I understand that this kind of data cap is not the most popular among fans, among these FMVs, Duncan has the strongest defensive performance and the best final carry, but you ranked him last??
[-]WarriorsSartheking 24 points 6 days ago
Shaq.
[-]NuggetsHanhonhon 20 points 6 days ago *
Shaq (2000)
Lebron (2016)
Wade (2006)
Giannis (2021)
Duncan (2003)
EDIT: Bron is probably #1 actually
Nuggets fans: my ranking is: O’Neal (2000), James (2016), Wade (2006), Alphabet brother (2021), Duncan (2003).
Added: in fact, James may be ranked first in 16 years.
[-]Khione_Asteri 2 points 6 days ago
KD does not deserve a shout. he was extremely enabled by Curry’s off ball gravity. when you benefit from a top 10-15 (realistically there’s 15 dudes people argue for top 10) player of all time at his peak playing next to you you don’t really get to say your finals performance was super impressive.
Fans: Durant’s performance is not worth discussing at all! He benefited too much from library’s gravity! When you play with one of the top 10-15 players in the peak period of history (in fact, there should be about 15 players in the history that can be included in the discussion category of the top 10), you benefit from his restraint, don’t tell others how awesome your finals are ~ ~
[-]tbrenclaimed 5 points 6 days ago
Averaging 35 on 70% TS with stellar defense is absolutely nuts Idc if he had Curry to help him out lmao
Fans: in the finals, the actual hit rate of 70% was 35 points, and the defense was also first-class. Isn’t it bad enough!? What Library has gravity? It doesn’t matter if he has a ball, ha ha ha ha ~ ~ ~

“I also didn’t add Curry in 2022 because of Jayson Tatum’s terrible/inefficient offense in that series”
Then take off Lebron in 2016 because of Curry’s terrible offense in that series. Tf kind of logic is that lmao
Warriors fans: The landlord said, “and I didn’t put Curry in 2022, because Tatum’s performance in the finals that year was too bad and inefficient…”
The original poster, according to what you said, please also remove James from 2016, because Curry played too badly in the finals that year! What logic is this? It’s so funny!
[-]bowenbear 6 points 6 days ago
Lol I was gonna say that. By that logic way more players should be taken off his list.
Fans: ha ha ha, I also want to say this. According to the landlord, there are too many players to remove from this list ~ ~ ~
