On July 7, 2023, in the second round of the 2023 national men’s basketball league, during the match against Shijiazhuang Xianglan (sequence 10) in Jiangxi Ganchi, 8 minutes 37 seconds was left before the end of the fourth quarter of the match, lu Gang, head coach of Jiangxi Ganchi basketball club, entered the venue without the permission of the referee and interfered with the game.
For serious league discipline, the league organizing committee office shall, in accordance with Article 10 (5) and Article 11 (1) of the national men’s basketball league violation punishment measures, lu Gang made the following punishment decision:
1. Warning;
2. Fine (deduction of league deposit) 10,000 yuan;
3. Stop participating in a league match and suspend the match for Jiangsu Yannan Suke against Jiangxi Ganchi (sequence 22).
If the parties have any objection to the punishment result, they shall appeal to the discipline and ethics committee of China Basketball Association within seven days from the date of the punishment decision. The appeal does not affect the execution of punishment.
All clubs are invited to take warning, strengthen the management of the Gypsy style competition discipline, strictly implement the main responsibility of the Gypsy style competition discipline, and avoid such incidents happening again.
