On July 7, 2023, in the second round of the 2023 national men’s basketball league, before the match between Changsha Bay Tian Yongsheng and Shaanxi Xinda (sequence 8) began, Ye Libo, a staff member of Changsha Yongsheng basketball club, destroy the match timer equipment and take away the key parts on the timer equipment, which leads to the delay of the start of the match.
For serious league discipline, the league organizing committee office shall, in accordance with Article 10 (2) and Article 11 (1) of the national men’s basketball league violation punishment measures, make the following penalty decision on Ye Libo:

If the parties have any objection to the punishment result, they shall appeal to the discipline and ethics committee of China Basketball Association within seven days from the date of the punishment decision. The appeal does not affect the execution of punishment.
All clubs and divisions must strictly follow the relevant requirements of the “2023 National Men’s Basketball League (NBL) competition work regulations” and prohibit irrelevant personnel from entering key competition areas such as the record desk. All clubs need to strengthen the supervision and management of club staff to avoid the recurrence of similar incidents.
