Live broadcast on July 8th, the King officially announced that the team officially signed the next long contract with Domantas Sabonis.
According to previous reports, the contract reached between Xiao Sa and the King was $0.217 billion for 5 years, and there was no player or team option. Xiao Sa’s original annual salary for the 2023-24 season was 19.4 million dollars (with a small probability of getting a bonus of 2.6 million dollars), which was invalidated because of the re-signing.
In the 2022-23 season, Xiao Sa was selected as the All-Star team and the best team of the year. He scored 19.1 points, 12.3 rebounds, 7.3 assists in the regular season and 16.4 points, 11 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.4 steals in the playoffs.
