Live broadcast, July 15 -today, Piston coach Monty Williams was interviewed while watching the summer league on the sidelines.
Monty said: “Because of my family, I originally planned to have a rest in summer, and then I left the sun. I planned to have a rest for one or two years. I didn’t take it for granted to have a job, so I was fishing or playing golf. Troy (general manager of piston Weaver) called at the right time. He trusted me and the boss of piston was very generous. I talked with my mentor, finally, I made this decision.”
Previously, Monty Williams signed a six-year contract with piston for $78.5 million.
