When participating in the podcasting program a few days ago, Curry talked about his experience of meeting James in the finals for four consecutive years.
Curry said: “No one can think of this in advance. When we lost to Kansas in the Elite Eight games, I was still thinking about whether to enter the league. After the game was over, the first question I asked in the dressing room was my opinion on the draft. Please, we just lost the game and even cried together.”
“When I went to Detroit to compete at that time, I heard some rumors that James might spectators. No one believed that he would really come, but finally the news came that Ricky (Paul) came and he also came. There were about five or six people. He was watching our game on the court at that time, if you said we would meet in the finals six years later, I would definitely think you are crazy.” Curry added.
“My father had a house in North Carolina, and there was still a James jersey hanging in my bedroom.” Curry finally said.
