Live broadcast, July 7-WNBA’s new regulations will take effect next year: players must report before the regular season starts or they will be banned for one year.
The two WNBA players are creating a new league, according to ESPN celebrity Ramona Shelburne.
They are New York Free Man Stewart, Minnesota Tigercat player Nafisa Collier. The new league, named “Unrivaled”, will be held from January to March every year. It consists of 30 top professional women players from 6 teams and plays 3V3 and 1V1 matches in the studio in Miami.
Their goal is to raise enough private funds and sponsorship to provide players with salaries that are commensurate with WNBA season income.
